The federal government has summoned Iva Denoo, chargè d’ affaires of the high commission of Ghana to Nigeria over the demolition of a building at the Nigerian commission in Accra.
TheCable had reported how armed men invaded the commission on Friday, demolishing some apartments that were under construction.
In a tweet on Monday, Geoffrey Onyeama, said Denoo was summoned to give an urgent explanation on the attack as well as an update on security for diplomatic premises and staff.

Earlier, Onyeama said the federal government had engaged Ghanaian authorities over the incident and demanded that those responsible for the attack should be brought to book.
In its reaction, the Ghanaian government had said perpetrators of the act would be punished.
