The federal government says there is a strong interest in fostering trade between Nigeria and China.
Yusuf Tuggar, minister of foreign affairs, spoke during a China-Nigeria Business event in Beijing on Friday, according to a statement by Alkasim Abdulkadir, minister’s media aide.
Abdulkadir said the business event was part of the activities marking Tuggar’s official visit to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.
He said the event, aimed to enhance bilateral trade, investment, and economic ties between the two nations, was jointly organised by the Nigerian Embassy and Yingke Law firm.
