Nigeria moved up nine places from 50th to 41st position in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday.
The Super Eagles’ points tally improved to 686 from 619 in January.
The three-time African champions are now 7th in the continent.
Meanwhile, Argentina maintain the number one spot in the world and are followed by Germany, Brazil, Belgium and Colombia who occupy second, third, fourth and fifth places respectively.

France is in the sixth position, Colombia is seventh while Portugal, Uruguay, and Spain are eight, ninth and 10th respectively.
