The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped two places from 32nd to 34nd in the world based on FIFA’s latest rankings.
According to the list released on Thursday by the world football governing body, the three-time African champions also moved two steps backward from 3rd to 5th on the continent.
Nigeria’s current rating was due to poor showings in the international friendly games played since the last ranking in May.
Super Eagles failed to register a win in the double-header against Cameroun in June — losing 1-0 to Andre Anguissa’s grounder in the first match. They also recorded a goalless draw in the second match.
