Overall, I was disappointed by the play of
the Americans after reading heaps of articles about how this team was equipped to make
a run for the World Cup. While a squad of players might
already exist when you take the job as international manager, you
might not be happy with one or more of them. But sadly,
this victory was not to be repeated again until the 1994 USA World Cup.
