A fire incident has broken out at ASCON filling station on Admiralty way, in Lekki, lagos.
A witness told TheCable that the fire started at “around 2:02pm”, but the cause was unknown as at the time he spoke with us.
“The fire started around 2:02; I just got to the office when it started.
“Almost all the cars that queued for fuel got burnt; a few others sped away before it reached them.”

At the time of filing the report, men of the Lagos state fire service were working to put out the fire.
“The fuel attendants ran away, so no one is injured,” the witness added.
