Fire has razed the Eco Fitness Hub in Gwarinpa, Abuja.
The fire erupted in the early hours of Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses said no casualties were recorded. At the time of reporting, the cause of the outbreak has not been ascertained.
“We’ve called the federal fire service for like an hour now. They’ve not been here. We are still waiting for them. The fire is spreading to the next building,” said a man who uses the gym.

Personnel of the fire service have now arrived at the scene to put out the conflagration.
The incident comes just weeks after a fire engulfed a private telecommunications facility in Maitama, Abuja.
A nearby restaurant was affected as well.

Eight months ago, sections of the popular Wuse market in the federal capital territory (FCT), were gutted by fire.
