Four students hostels at Government Secondary School Gwarzo in Kano state were razed down by fire on Tuesday.
Witnesses told NAN that the incident happened while students were in their classes.
According to the witnesses, property worth millions of naira, were also destroyed by the inferno.
The sources said though no life was lost, the four hostels were completely destroyed.

With the help of some individuals, personnel of the state fire service succeeded in putting out the fire.
Balarabe Kabara, director of the state fire service, confirmed the incident, saying the fire occurred around 11:47am when the students were in class.
This is the third secondary school in the state to be gutted by fire since the Harmattan season set in.

About seven female students lost their lives in similar incident at Government Girls Secondary School Gezawa in which many others sustained injuries.
Another fire incident had also affected Government Secondary School, Kwankwaso.
