Flying Eagles assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade, is expecting a tough match when the Nigeria U-20 team files out against Congo in their second group game at the Africa Youth Championship.
Nigeria beat Senegal 3-1 in their first game while Congo played a 1-1 draw with Cote d’Ivoire in theirs.
The Eagles top the group but Ugbade expects a difficult match against the Congolese.
“It will be a tough match against Congo, but it won’t be an easy one for them,” he told sl10.ng.

“We have a very young squad but we also have good players in our team and we know what we can do as a team and that is very important.”
A win for the Flying Eagles will ensure qualification for the semi-finals of the AYC as well as book a ticket to the next FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Ugbade though is not thinking too far ahead.

“I have said it before that the goal is to win the competition, but we cannot do that by not winning our games.
“We have to take these games as they come and set out to win them, which in the end will take us where we want to be,” he said.
