Flying Eagles defender, Izu Omego, is “now doing fine” after he was discharged from hospital following his injury against Kano Pillars.
Omego (right) was kicked in the head by an opponent during the Super Six clash on Monday and slumped immediately. But he was revived on the pitch and taken to a hospital where he was confirmed to be in a stable condition.
Now he has fully recovered.

“When the incident occurred I didn’t notice anything but at some point I began to notice people around me but I thank God all is well.”
The player is a major doubt to partake in any further role in the competition.
In his absence, the Flying Eagles beat Warri Wolves 1-0 on Wednesday and it’s their third win in three games.
