The Flying Eagles of Nigeria defeated Nurnberg’s U-23 side 5-0 to continue their impressive form ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Taiwo Awoniyi can’t stop scoring as his goals gave the team a 2-0 lead. The striker has now bagged five goals in two games after his hat-trick against Hoffeinheim in their first match helped his side to a 5-2 win.
The first-half ended 4-0 after further goals from Kingsley Sokari and Ibrahim Alhassan.
Alhassan made it 5-0 in the second half to complete the rout.

The Manu Garba-tutored side has now scored 10 goals and conceded two in two warm-up games ahead the championship in New Zealand.
Their final warm-up match is against Freiburg U-23 team on May 19.
The team is due to fly out to New Zealand via Australia from Germany on May 23.

The Flying Eagles have been paired with Brazil, Hungary and South Korea in the Group E of the World Cup. They will begin their campaign against Brazil on June 1.

They seem to be having good preparation for the world cup but I thought by now their warm up macthes should be against quality national teans that have also made it to the world cup.
