Argentina under-17 player, Tomas Conechny, plunged 10 feet out of a hotel window after becoming excited while playing the FIFA video game.
Conechny was representing his country in a tournament in Paraguay and preparing to celebrate his 17th birthday when disaster struck.
He was playing FIFA on PlayStation when he got overexcited and fell 10 feet out of a window.
Luckily he lived to tell the story.

“I admit I had a bit of a shock when the window opened and I fell out, but luckily I only had a few scratches so didn’t miss my party,” he said.
Fabian Puente, a worker in the hotel also spoke about the incident.
“I was laying tables in the restaurant when I saw this body hit the ground outside,” she said.

“I was completely shocked and ran outside to see what had happened. The kid was lying on the floor and was clearly in a lot of pain.
“Luckily, I am trained in first aid so I quickly checked to see how badly injured he was. Fortunately, apart from a couple of twisted ankles and a few cuts and bruises he was okay.
“He was in shock more than anything else. But it’s lucky he was on the first floor and not a higher one otherwise he could have died.”
Conechny was part of the U-17 side playing in a South American-wide tournament in Paraguay at the time and couldn’t participate in the final match against Ecuador because of the injuries.
