After disappearing into obscurity for years, My Car singer, Tony Tetuila, has chosen to tow the path of some of his colleagues by delving into politics.
Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye, aka Tony Tetuila, has declared his intention to run for a seat at the Kwara state house of assembly, Irepodun local government under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
Just like his fellow artistes, 9ice and Kenny Saint Brown, Tetuila has realised politics may just be the escape route, after all If he doesn’t win, he may just get an appointment.
For those who may have forgotten about Tetuila, he was a member of the defunct music group, The Remedies, with Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Montana until their split. He went on to become a solo artiste under Kennis Music record label, dropped hits like My Car, Two Women, Omode meta, E go better.

The last that was heard of Tetuila was when he dropped a single, African Man featuring 2face/2baba in early 2013, but it did little or nothing to help his nose-diving music career.
Clearly, he had to try his luck in another field.
