Four years after, Dejhavu returns with ‘Lovely’

You will recognise Dejhavu as one half of former Bariga bred duo, Kode, and their hugely popular 2009 collaboration with the late great Dagrin titled, Where Dem Dey.

Highly rated upon their debut, the duo had a good year as they also collaborated with the likes of Pope, Dokta Frabz, Spellz, Klever Jay and Indomix among others.

But shortly after releasing a debut album as part of Kode’s body of work, the songster stepped down from the music game to further his education, eventually bagging two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Lagos and Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, Finland.

With that under his belt and shoved away, he returns with a brand new single titled Lovely, a smooth and captivating song of AfroPop genre produced by Shabach and Frankeys, proving that the artiste still possesses those heavenly vocals, compelling song-writing skills and a penchant for an infectious chorus.

Written in appreciation of the strength and beauty of the leading lady, Lovely is sure to strike a beautiful chord, especially among female listeners and male listeners who appreciate a good woman.

Now based in London and signed to Team U Entertainment, Dejhavu is firmly poised to pick up exactly where he left off with Kode and continue his rise to the top of African music with the belief that good music will always prevail.
