The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it produced 73,740 national driver’s licences in two weeks.
In a statement on Wednesday, Olusegun Ogungbemide, spokesperson of the corps, said 84,500 driver’s licences are in queue for production.
Ogungbemide said Shehu Mohammed, FRSC corps marshal, has constituted a task force to ensure that the backlog is cleared as soon as possible.
“Owing to the strategic intervention mechanisms introduced towards clearing the backlogs of the National Drivers License (NDL) by the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, the National Drivers License Print Farm has produced 73,740 licenses in two weeks,” the statement reads.
