Fubara reappoints Danagogo, ex-minister of sports, as SSG 

Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers, has appointed Tammy Danagogo as the secretary to the state government (SSG).

Danagogo, a two-time commissioner and former minister of sports, was the SSG in the administration of Nyesom Wike, the immediate former governor of the state.

In a statement by Boniface Onyedi,  special adviser on media to the governor, Fubara also appointed Chidi Amadi as his chief of staff.

Amadi, until his appointment was the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Obio/Akpor LGA. He was also a member of the Rivers house of assembly.

“His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, governor of Rivers state has approved the appointment of the following persons: Dr Tammy Wenike Danagogo, secretary to the state government.  Hon. Chidi Amadi, chief of staff, government house,” the statement reads.
