Alhaji Tijjani Hashim, the Galadiman Kano and a member of the Kano emirate council, has died.
A former aide to late Sir Ahmadu Bello, Hashim died at the federal capital territory on Monday.
Alhaji Tijjani Mailafiya, the special adviser to Governor of Kano state, Rabi’u Kwankwaso confirmed the news, disclosing that Hashim was preparing for a medical trip abroad.
The deceased, who left behind three wives and 13 children (six males and seven females), was among those who decided the emergence of Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi, as emir of Kano in June.

He is to be buried in accordance with Islamic rites later in the day.
