Abdullahi GandujeAbdullahi Ganduje, national chair of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), says President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms will transform Nigeria.

Ganduje said this on Friday in Abuja when the forum of LGA chairmen visited the national working committee (NWC) of the party.

The national chair stated that the APC has the highest number of LGAs and states because it is a grassroots political party.

He commended the dedication and hard work of the chairmen, stating that they serve as the party’s foot soldiers because they are closest to the grassroots.

“We know how you are bearing the demands of the party followers, especially during election times and primaries,” Ganduje said.

“We know how difficult it is for you, so we regard you as our foot soldiers and of course, we appreciate you.”

He said the president “as a tested and trusted grassroots politician” is set to take the country to greater heights.

“He is a great leader because he is bold enough to take some decisions which previous administrations could not take,” Ganduje added.

“And very soon, you will start seeing the positive effects of the reforms that he is introducing. Our refineries will soon be producing abundant fuel.

“It is all over the world now that the narrative is changing about the use of petrol, CNG vehicles will soon be on ground where transportation will be cheaper.

“The reforms the Tinubu-led administration is introducing will take Nigeria to the next level.”

Norbert Sochukwudinma, national secretary of the forum, pledged the delegation’s unalloyed loyalty to Ganduje and the party’s NWC.

Sochukwudinma praised Ganduje’s leadership style, saying it has brought the party to winning ways.

“As your foot soldiers and great mobilisers, we do not have as much access to you as many others do but this that we have done today, will go down to all the wards in Nigeria,” Sochukwudinma said.

“The ward chairmen in our various local government areas will hear this and be happy for it.”
