Tunji Adebayo has won the 2022 edition of Lakowe Lakes Golf men’s club championship held in Lagos state.
Fatoumata Coker also completed a treble to pick the ladies’ prize at the 36-hole event which came to an end on Sunday.
Adebayo had returned 77 on the opening day to set himself up for an easy cruise in the closing round where he coasted home with 74 to stand three shots clear of the title.
Speaking on his feat, Adebayo said: “It is a beautiful feeling coming back to lift this title after some denials in the recent past. Golfing at Lakowe is a wholesome experience and I really think operators of the facility deserve commendation for not compromising on quality”.
