The governor said if governments were to be rated in the country, his administration would be rated among the “A-grade governments” that performed exceptionally well.

“I need to say that if a rating is made of all governments, if we don’t blow our trumpet, no one else will, but wherever we go, we score an A,” he said.

“As a leader, I am very proud to say that what we did was really good no matter the odds, even the opposition has always made good remarks about Gombe.

“Not here only but wherever you go, you hear the good name of Gombe.

“That happens because of the sacrifice, commitment, dedication, loyalty, and above all, the resilience of all of us that worked in this state in order to get this.”

Yahaya said it was in recognition of his administration’s sterling performance that residents of the state re-elected him for a second term in office.

“In fact, we did more than that of 2019 (elections) and the result is positive,” he said.

“If you go out of Gombe, 95 percent especially in Abuja, were expecting to hear that Gombe is no longer APC. Some were campaigns of calumny.

“Some were saying that Gombe will be lost to another party, shame on them, APC is back and even in a better state.”

The governor pledged to continue to deliver good governance that would improve the well-being of residents of the state.
