The Old Boys Association of Saint Patrick’s College (SPC) has congratulated Epiphany Azinge on his election as the 14th Asagba of Asaba.
The group’s message was contained in a statement on Monday by Anthony Odiadi and Tajudeen Bakare, the national president and secretary, respectively.
The association commended the process that led to Azinge’s selection, emphasising that the kingmakers of Asaba found him eminently qualified to lead the ancient town.
The association highlighted Azinge’s long-standing connection to St. Patrick’s College, Asaba—known as the “Varsity on the Niger”—and expressed confidence that he will bring the nobility, wisdom, and drive for success imbued in him by the alma mater to his reign.
