The Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA) and Beautiful Gate Handicapped People’s Centre in Plateau have donated 60 wheelchairs and foodstuffs to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Benue.
The aids were donated and presented to Rakiya Abubakar, NAFOWA national president, in Makurdi.
F.O. Edosa, chairperson of the Benue state chapter of NAFOWA, welcomed the guests and commended the national president for supporting PWDs.
Edosa, who is the air tactical commander in Makurdi, appreciated the collaboration.

Ayuba Gufwan, executive director of Beautiful Gate, sought for more partnership with NAF and the army to reach PWDs in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
He thanked Azumi Danat of Azumi Ladi Danat Foundation for facilitating the partnership.
Abubakar said the outreach is meant to provide medical and humanitarian services to 150 beneficiaries, including PWDs and families of fallen air force officers.
