“At GTBank, our people are our most valuable asset, and your health and safety is our utmost concern,” Agbaje said in an internal communication to the staff.

“That is why we are constantly monitoring the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and taking all the necessary precautions to make sure that our workplaces remain safe for everyone.

“Our customers and stakeholders are also counting on us during this difficult time, and it is our duty to be there for them, as they navigate the uncertainties caused by this outbreak.”

He said the bank is committed to ensure that the centre is “fully set up by the end of this week”.

Agbaje also advised members of the public to “assume a greater sense of responsibility” for not only themselves but for other people.

  1. ?Great reaction/response from a great institution. No wonder you guys are doing well! This is one CSR that’ll connect with people and will further take your brand to greater heights for more revenue/profitability. It’s money well spent! Please take a step further by building a robust medical centre that can successfully take care of basic health issues or do some standard PHCs in some LGs just to help show the way. The governments at all levels are busy building roads where it’s like a quick win for them. Thank you GT Bank?
