Guinness to share N100 million among over 800,000 Nigerians

Guinness Nigeria, brewers of Malta Guinness, in a plan to reward Nigerians, says it will be sharing N100,000,000 among over 800,000 Nigerians.

Unveiling its Malta Guinness “Go Get It” consumer promotion, Ifeoma Agu, brand manager, Malta Guinness and non alcoholic drinks, said 13 Nigerians will win one million each, 39 others will win N100,000 and over 800,000 Nigerians will win airtime and N5,000 cash prizes.

According to the company, over 3,000 people sent in their ideas and the best one, pitched by Ibrahim Babayemi, a rabbit farmer was selected.

Babayemi Ibrahim, was said to have exhibited the “can do spirit” by sharing an inspiring video of how he plans to use the money to boost his rabbitory and expand into crop farming in order to take his project to the next level and contribute to sustaining food security in Nigeria.

To participate in the promo, Nigerians are required “to buy a bottle or can of their favourite Malta Guinness Classic or Malta Guinness Herbs Lite, open the crown cork or can ring pull to reveal a code; SMS the code with your name to 32011 e.g: SMS T8R7KYU7 MARY to 32011”.
