Gunmen abduct chairman of Oyo park management

Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Akeem Akintola, chairman of the Oyo state tipper, lorry and quarry park management system (PMS).

NAN reports that Akintola, popularly known as Kuso, was kidnapped at his residence on Saturday in the Ajiboye area of Omi Apata in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

According to the report, a resident of the area who did not want his name published said the gunmen attacked Akintola’s residence Saturday morning and took him to an unknown destination.

Police were yet to confirm the incident at the time of this report.

Adewale Osifeso, police public relations officer (PPRO) in Oyo, was not immediately available to answer enquiries on the incident.
