Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped two sisters in Chikakore community in the Kubwa area of the federal capital territory (FCT).
Punch reports that the gunmen forced their way into the home of the girls on Sunday around 11 pm. Reports on the incident however emerged on Wednesday.
The kidnappers initially seized three people — two girls aged 16 and 14, and their brother.
The gunmen were said to have released the boy to return home to arrange for the ransom.

Their father had ventured outside to seek for help after learning that gunmen were trying to force their way into his home.
When he returned, the gunmen had taken two of his children.
Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the FCT police command, did not immediately respond to TheCable’s request for comments on the incident.

In recent weeks, there have been series of attacks and abductions in communities in the FCT.
On January 2, bandits abducted Mansur Al-Kadriyar alongside his six daughters, after they attacked their residence in Zuma 1, Bwari area council of Abuja.
