A family of three has reportedly been abducted in Chikakore, Bwari area council of the federal capital territory (FCT).
Gunmen were said to have invaded the area early Monday morning.
Daily Trust reports that a man, his wife, son and two other persons were abducted during the attack.
The abductors are yet to contact families of the victims.

The report added that police personnel from the Byazin station have visited the community.
When contacted, Josephine Adeh, police spokesperson in the FCT, told TheCable she would confirm the attack and provide an update.
There has been an uptick in the spate of abductions in the nation’s capital in recent times.

In May 2024, gunmen in military uniform abducted 20 persons in Abuja.
A month before, four residents of Bmuko community in the Dutse Baupma axis of Bwari, were abducted following an attack by gunmen.
