Olufemi Adeogun, the chief medical director of General Hospital, Idoani, Ondo state, has been kidnapped.
Adeogun was abducted on Monday on his way to Owo.
Two other people — Foluke Ajibola, a records officer with the hospital, and another yet-to-be-identified victim — were kidnapped alongside the CMD.
Tee-Leo Ikoro, spokesperson for the police in Ondo, confirmed the abduction on Tuesday.

“He was travelling with two other people from Idoani en route Owo when they were kidnapped yesterday evening,” the police spokesman said.
“We are tracking them with a phone that was found near the spot they were kidnapped.”
The incident comes two months after nine passengers heading to Lagos from Abuja were kidnapped in Ondo state.

The passengers, who were travelling in a Toyota Sienna bus, were said to have been abducted at Isua area of Akoko south east local government area of Ondo.
