Unknown gunmen killed Emmanuel Onyekaozuru, a Nigerian businessman based in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday.
Onyekaozuru, an indigene of Anambra state, is the only son of his parents and he is married with three children.
Ikechukwu Anyene, president of Nigeria Union in South Africa, confirmed the tragic news to NAN on Monday, saying the union would work with the Nigerian consul general and the police to ensure that justice was done.
“The union has received a report that a Nigerian businessman, Emmanuel Onyekaozuru, was shot in his business premises at 9pm yesterday (June 7),” he said.
