Some gunmen killed a Point of Sale (PoS) operator in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti, on Thursday.
The PoS operator, identified as Alfa Taofeek, was shot in his shop, located after the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH).
Multiple reports indicate that the gunmen, numbering about three, arrived at the deceased’s shop on a motorcycle and opened fire on him, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money and phones.
Taofeek was said to be a popular petty trader who always had cash owing to the nature of his business.
