The police command in Anambra says suspected gunmen have killed three siblings and dumped their bodies in a freezer in Nnewichi, Nnewi north LGA of Anambra.
Tochukwu Ikenga, the police spokesperson in Anambra, told TheCable that the bodies of the children were recovered from the freezer and deposited at a morgue.
Ikenga said the command has launched a probe into the incident, noting that no suspect has been arrested.
He said Nnaghe Itam, the commissioner of police in Anambra, has ordered that the case be transferred to the state criminal investigation department in Awka, the state capital, for further investigation.
