The Joint Health Sector Unions and Assembly of Healthcare Professionals (JOHESU) has suspended its industrial action.
This followed a meeting between the leadership of the union and representatives of the federal government in Abuja.
Biobelemoye Josiah, chairman of the union, has directed members to resume work on Wednesday, saying the strike was suspended “in principle”.
Josiah said another meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, explaining that the agreements reached on Saturday would be ratified next week.
