Sunday Dare, former minister of sports and youth development, has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
In a goodwill message on Friday, Dare said Tinubu has shown that he is a phenomenal and inspirational leader.
He said the president has contributed immensely to the development and growth of the nation over the years.
“Today, I have the absolute pleasure of felicitating with an extraordinary and inspirational leader of all time, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the the special occasion of his 72nd birthday,” he said.

“As the President, you have also exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership.
“Thank you for your contributions to the nation’s growth and development. May you have many more years to stay with us and may God in His infinite mercies, continue to bless you with good health as you discharge your responsibilities to the nation.”
The former minister prayed that God would grant Tinubu more wisdom as he “leads Nigeria in these challenging times”.

In his birthday message to Tinubu, Usman Ododo, Kogi state governor, lauded the president for his “extraordinary dedication” to rekindle hope in Nigeria.
He said the president has shown “unwavering commitment, wisdom, and leadership in steering Nigeria towards greater economic prosperity and improvement in the security of lives and property under very challenging circumstances”.
“Mr. President, as you mark your 72nd birthday today, I extend my warmest wishes on behalf of the government and people of Kogi State to you for your abiding faith in our county and for your love for our state,” Ododo said.
“Your steadfast dedication to the welfare and progress of our country serves as an inspiration to us all.

Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Ekiti state, said the “president’s desire for low-key celebrations, as expressed by his request that friends and associates refrain from placing congratulatory advertisements in newspapers, reflects his understanding of the current economic situation and connection to the masses”.
In a statement issued by his media team, Fayemi praised the president for his long-standing commitment to progressive ideals, the sacrifices he has made to deepen Nigeria’s democracy, and his commitment to making Nigeria a more prosperous and united country.

Fayemi acknowledged that the current challenges are daunting, but expressed confidence in the president’s ability to lead Nigeria out of the woods.
