‘Here till the end’ — Osimhen rules out January move from Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen has ruled out a possible move to a new club in the forthcoming January transfer window. 

The 25-year-old striker spoke in a chat with journalists in Istanbul, Turkey.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September. He moved to the Turkish club after Chelsea and Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli pulled their offers to sign the striker.

Subsequently, Osimhen’s relationship with Napoli grew sour, as the club failed to register him for the 2024/25 Serie A campaign.

However, there are reports of Chelsea’s renewed interest in the striker and their plans to acquire him in January.

Reacting to the rumours, Osimhen said he will play at the RAMS Park until his season-long loan spell ends.

“Here. I am here until the end,” he said.

Osimhen has been in excellent form for Galatasaray, scoring four goals and providing two assists in five league games.

His collection of goals for the Turkish club includes a spectacular overhead kick against Antalyaspor and a brilliant brace against Kasimpasa in the Super Lig.

Galatasaray are top of the Turkish league after 10 games — unbeaten with nine wins and one draw.
