Former President Muhammadu Buhari has hailed Bisi Akande, an ex-interim national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his 85th birthday anniversary.
The former governor of Osun will be 85 on January 16.
In a statement on Monday signed by Garba Shehu, his spokesperson, Buhari described Akande as a wise man under whose watch the ruling party made tremendous progress.
“He is a very wise man who laid a solid foundation for the growth and development of our party,” the statement quoted Buhari as saying.
