Cars45, a leading automotive trading platform, says the company is leveraging on technology advancements to foster transparency in the Nigeria’s automotive industry.
At an interactive session in Lagos, Ganguly Soumobroto, chief executive officer (CEO) of the company, said Cars45 is currently intensifying efforts aimed at solving the challenges across the automotive sector.
He said such measures will improve the automotive value chain from new, to used, logistics, aftermarket and repair services and scrap vehicles.
According to him, some of the initiatives introduced by the company include international trade services also known as EasyShipDirect, GoMechanic45 as well as institutional and corporate sales.

The CEO said the company has also partnered financial institutions – fintechs and banks to provide vehicle financing services to both consumers and car dealers.
This, he said, will help get rid of the long-standing barriers to car ownership and help grow the pool of car owners across the country.
Also speaking, Shola Adekoya, head, marketing and communications, said the company seeks achieve a paradigm shift in the extant complex ecosystem of buying and selling cars.

Adekoya said with the company’s philosophy of transparency, convenience, transparency and digitization, customers can get verified cars without fear of uncertainties.
“We want to make life very easy for our customers. Previously if you want to buy a car, you have to visit a shop or know someone who know someone. But we are facilitating trade in a very easy and transparent way with high level of integrity,” he said.
“We are creating digital imputing tools that make everything transparent so that when you come to drive or buy a car, you are not at a loss as what to expect. We are also using data to guide the system of transaction to ensure both car sellers and buyers get value.”
