Huddersfield return to top flight of English football after 45 years

Huddersfield will play in the English Premier League next season courtesy of a 4-3 defeat of Reading at the Wembley Stadium.

It is a much-anticipated return to the top flight after a 45-year absence.

For the third time in history, the second tier play-off final of the English Championship was settled by penalties.

Christopher Schindler fired the winning penalty for Huddersfield.
