Aminu Dantata, former board chairman of the Northern Nigeria Flour Mills Plc (NNFM), says he no longer enjoys life.
The 91-year-old business mogul said this on Tuesday when Kashim Shettima, vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, visited him at his residence.
He clocked 91 in May.
Dantata said he has travelled to all the states in the country and has made a lot of friends, adding that he can hardly identify 10 of them that are still alive.

He requested the people he offended to forgive him and said he has also forgiven all who offended him.
“In fact, I am the only one left in my family living with grandchildren,” Dantata said.
“May God not leave us with our efforts alone. We pray for his continued guidance and protection.”

The elder statesman also expressed his gratitude to Shettima and Ganduje for the visit, and prayed for sustainable peace in the country.
