Kelechi Iheanacho says Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony, senior players at Manchester City, have been helping him in training so can become a great player too.
On Tuesday night, Iheanacho scored his third goal for the club to send them to the semi-finals of the League Cup and afterwards he praised his more illustrious striking rivals for guiding him.
“Aguero and Bony are pushing me to be great,” he said.
“They talk to me every day in training, giving me advise and encouraging me to keep going and doing well.

“They tell me I will be a great player one day, so I will keep listening and working hard.”
Iheanacho said he is not worried by his bit role at star-studded City because he is a young player who is learning.
“City are a big team and I’m just coming up as a young player, so I am not worried,” he said.

“One day I will start playing regularly for the team. There are plenty of good players in the EDS, and I feel like I’m flying the flag for them – they can do what I’m doing.”
