Former Super Eagles and Everton star Daniel Amokachi says if given the opportunity, he’d be interested in coaching the English Premier League side.
Amokachi, who was bought by Everton for 3 million pounds in 1994, said this when he recently paid a visit to the Merseyside.
“I definitely would like to come back too,” the 44-year-old former Super Eagles assistant coach told Skysports UK.
“It is all about timing. When the opportunity comes then why not?

“Life is a beautiful thing. It is always good to come back home.”
Amokachi, whose sons are on trial at Everton’s Academy, said not much meaning should be read into the club’s failure to win a silverware since 1995.
“I know we have not won anything since 1995 but we have been in two finals. That’s just football,” he said.

Amokachi is presently an administrator with Finnish semi-professional team Jalkapalloseura where he started as the team manager.
The retired goal-poacher said he’s relishing the experience in Finland.
“Things are good in Finland. I have taken over the technical director role and left my coaching position there,” he said. “Of course, it is semi-professional level so you just have to manage them and get the best out of them.
“But I am really enjoying it. The new role also helps me to be flexible and come over here too.”
