Odion Ighalo says he is very disappointed that he will be unable to play in the Super Eagles’ international friendly against Argentina.
Ighalo, who is out injured for two weeks, told TheCable that it is more saddening because he will miss the opportunity to play against Lionel Messi.
“I feel very disappointed that I won’t be able to play against Lionel Messi in the friendly game because I have been looking forward to the game,” Ighalo said.
“There will be other opportunities to play against him some other time.

“But that’s how it is in football but I am thankful to God that I will be out between 10 to 15 days.
“I picked up a knock on my knee in our last game and I am going to miss the last game of the season for my club too.
Messi, who is the biggest attraction, has reportedly pulled out of the game.
