Odion Ighalo, the out-and-about goal getter for Watford FC, says he is trying hard to score goals for Nigeria.
The 26 year-old has netted 10 times for his English club this season, climbing to fourth on the scorers chart – 5 behind leading scorer, Jamie Vardy.
Ighalo, in an interview with Channels TV said he is always ready for the Nigerian national team, regardless his inability to register a goal yet.
He said his commitment and dedication to helping Nigeria qualify for the Nations Cup is 100% and thanked Coach Sunday Oliseh for supporting him.

‘’I am always ready to give my best anytime I’m playing for my country,” he said.
“In the last game, I gave my best but the goals did not come. I worked hard. Coach Sunday Oliseh told me (that) I should not worry about that the goals will come in the next game.
‘’I know by God’s grace we’ll win the game and qualify for the Nations Cup.’’

The former Julius Berger player has featured for the Super Eagles seven times, scoring just twice – the last coming in a friendly game against Cameroon on October 11, 2015.
