Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has said Nigeria’s qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup is one of the “best moments” of his career.
Ighalo who plays his club football in China described the qualification a “dream come true”.
“It is one of the best moments in my career,” the Changchun Yatai captain told TheCable.
“I was so happy and thankful to God because it’s a dream to go to the World Cup. A dream come true.”

Ighalo said he’d love to be part of the squad for the World Cup in Russia but that coach Gernot Rohr will be the decider of the players to be invited.
“Well, it’s the coach’s decision to call whoever he wants and feel that can help the team,” he said
“Everything is possible in football but for now I am enjoying my game here in China till something comes up.”

The striker said the Super Eagles can go past the round of 16 stage at the upcoming mundial.
“If we keep our concentration and work hard, we can achieve our dreams of surpassing the round of 16 at the World Cup. It is possible,” Ighalo added.
