Kelechi Iheanacho, Super Eagles forward, has arrived in Spain ahead of a potential transfer to Sevilla FC.
The Spanish club announced Iheanacho’s arrival in the country through a series of pictures on its X account on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old is expected to undergo medical examinations before the deal is finalised in the coming days.
There are reports that Iheanacho will sign a two-year contract with the Andalusian side.

Iheanacho would be joining the club as a free agent after being released by Leicester City following the expiration of his contract in June.
He left the English club after seven years at the King Power stadium.
Upon completing the switch to Sevilla, Iheanacho will become the second Nigerian to play for the club in its 134-year history.

He will join Chidera Ejuke, who signed up for the club in June.
Sevilla FC has been deliberate about its investment in Nigerian football.
On July 29, the club signed an agreement with the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) to help train coaches and develop young talents in the country.
