Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba, says Kelechi Iheanacho can replace Frank Lampard at Manchester City because of their similar traits.
Lampard signed off for City in perfect fashion after scoring on his final appearance in English football.
The former Chelsea player scored his side’s first goal as they wrapped up their Premier League campaign with a sixth successive victory, beating Southampton 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Lampard’s strike was his 259th on his 882nd appearance in the English game and he now heads off to join New York City after receiving a standing ovation from the fans.

Now Manu says his ward can recreate all that because of the similar traits he shares with the England legend.
“To be honest I’m not surprised at his performances for Manchester City youth teams as I have said it before – he can play for any team in the world, as a matter of fact they will do well to use him as a replacement for Frank Lampard,” he told SL10.ng.
“He shares similar style of play with the outgoing legend. They can both create and score goals from midfield with late runs into the 18-yard box hardly spotted by opposition defenders.”
