Kelechi Iheanacho made his Barclays Premier League debut for Manchester City in their 2-0 win against Watford at the Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old came on for Raheem Sterling in the 89th minute of the encounter as City maintained their 100 percent start to the new season with their fourth win in a row.
Iheanacho started on the bench for each of City’s first three games of this campaign and with Wilfried Bony out due to injury the Nigerian finally made his league bow.
His compatriot at the opposite end, Odion Ighalo, drew blanks in his third straight start for Watford and was replaced with Miguel Layun in 72nd minute.
