Iheanacho, Ndidi, Saka…TheCable’s team of the week

TheCable’s team of the week is made up of two Leicester City players, as the Foxes won against Crystal Palace — thanks to wonderful performances by Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, amongst others, who both featured.

This week’s team will see an adventurous 3-4-3 pattern deployed, with former Golden Eaglets safe hands in between the sticks.

Wilfred Ndidi – Leciester City

The heart of the Foxes midfield, running tirelessly and annihilating the enemies. He was also a constant threat to the Crystal Palace back four with some important runs up front.

What he did in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers is more than enough to include him. A wonderful strike that hit Wolves like Tsunami. Absolute quality again from Saka.

Kelechi Iheanacho – Leicester City

The forward was playing less at a stage this season, they said. No problem, a goal against Crystal Palace added to his crucial defensive work that frees Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez.
