Iheanacho spared a minute as City sail into FA Cup semis

Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Sergio Aguero in the last minute as Manchester City eased into the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday.

City recorded an emphatic 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the quarter-final game at the Riverside Stadium.

The Citizens, who were in control for most of the match, took an early lead through David Silva.

Despite dominating the first half, they failed to score more goals.

Leroy Sane provided Aguero with an assist to extend City’s lead in the 67th minute.

Silva, 31, has scored seven goals so far this season.

The game against Boro is City’s fifth clean sheet in eight matches.
