Iheanacho, Toure fire City to second spot

Yaya Toure and Kelechi Iheanacho sealed the win for Manchester City against Hull City on Monday night.

Man City were drifting towards a draw, and showed little punch up front for 70 minutes.

Pep Guardiola guided his side to second after sub Iheanacho finally sparked them to life.

Robertson brought down Raheem Sterling in the box eighteen, as Toure stepped up to give his club the lead in the 72nd minute.

As Hull City pour forward in the 78th minute, they were caught on the break by De Bruyne.

He received the ball in acres of space, fed Silva on the right, who squared a perfect pass across the six-yard box between goalkeeper and defender, for a simple tap-in at the back post for Iheanacho to extend Man City’s lead.

Curtis Davies compounded Hull City’s woes by scoring an own goal in 90th minute to extend the hosts lead.
