The third edition of the South Africa Cup, an 18-hole golf tournament, will take place on May 4 at the golf section of Ikoyi Club 1938 in Lagos.
The one-day tournament is part of South Africa’s 31 years of democratic rule.
The competition brings together amateur golfers from the Nigerian and South African business communities, including prominent business leaders and community figures.
In the past two editions, the tournament has earned wide acclaim for fostering bilateral partnerships while celebrating South Africa’s democratic milestone, with highlights that appeal to golf enthusiasts and catalysing economic collaboration.

Bobby Moore, South Africa’s Consul General, said the competition will foster a relationship that extends beyond sports between his country and Nigeria.
“The South Africa Cup is key to fostering the already cordial tie between the two critical economies in Africa, and its impact reverberates deeper into other aspects that have driven deeper integration of the two economies,” Moore said.
“We commend Crossflex Nigeria Limited for their innovative approach, which has elevated the tournament into a premier platform for unity and collaboration.”
